Hello! I'm Dr.Sai Chandra Kosaraju, an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Cal Poly Pomona. My work revolves around Intepretable and Evidential Deep Learning, and I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Trustworthy ness and realiablity of Deep Learning Frameworks.
I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where my research explored Deep Learning in health care. I earned my Master’s degree in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from GITAM Institute of Technology, Vishakapatnam, India. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve been fascinated by challenging and yet-to-discovered problem, which has driven me to contribute to the field through impactful research publications.
My research interests include health informatics, bioinformatics, machine learning, deep learning, etc. Currently, I’m working on Interpretable deep learning for health and bio sectors, which aims to diagonisis complex dieases from Medical Image Analysis, Finding dieases progonisis from Human genomics, race and gender specfic electronic health records (EHR) analysis, and protein and ligand bond predictions. I am passionate about mentoring students in research and creating opportunities for collaborative projects.
